The Legend of Crimson Sword - 3D Animated TV Series (2006-2008)

This is my first time in-charge of pre-production for a 3D animated series project. The Legend of Crimson Sword （赤剑传奇-天外福星）is produced by Intelture Animation Studio located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have home based studio named JC Wong Productions working on various creative projects. I spent about 3 years working on the pre-production including story develoment , scripts, concept arts and storyboarding. There are total of 4 seasons, 52 episodes and 23 minutes each for the series. A script writer HuiYu, 2 fresh graduate artists came into the project.
It was a low budget production, we have to think of many solutions to make sure everything is achieveable in the actual production under a tight dateline. We compromised in many aspects as for me, even for JinChong, boss of Intelture Animation, we have done what we could to overcome challenges and make it happen.
